Abstract

The invention discloses a trailer protection circuit of a new energy automobile. An isolation-type DC-DC converter powered by a bus capacitor of a high-voltage side of an inverter is added into an isolating and driving module, and a spare control chip is also added. The invention further discloses an implementation method of the trailer protection circuit. The spare control chip has a voltage reference value, a spare driving signal is outputted when the voltage of two ends of the bus capacitor is lower than the voltage reference value, so that a permanent magnet synchronous motor outputs negative torque, and a spare driving signal is outputted when the voltage of two ends of the bus capacitor is higher than the voltage reference value, so that the permanent magnet synchronous motor outputs positive torque. By the aid of the trailer protection circuit, the torque output of the permanent magnet synchronous motor can be controlled when the new energy automobile is dragged due to failure, the permanent magnet synchronous motor is continually switched over a motor mode and a generator mode, so that the voltage of the two ends of the bus capacitor is kept not higher than set safety voltage, and possible overvoltage damage of an electronic device is prevented.
