Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for device systems. The system includes a device, and a processor coupled to the device that places the device in one of an enabled state and a disabled state. The processor is defined to track usage of the device, and when usage of the device exceeds a threshold, the processor places the device in a disabled state. The system also includes a data receiving device configured to receive a code, wherein upon receiving a valid code, the processor is configured to adjust the threshold to allow additional use of the device.
