Abstract

The present invention provides a way for generating melodies. There is currently no algorithm for automatically generating melodies based on music lyrics. However, according to some recent studies, in a song, there is usually a certain correlation between the note (pitch) of the song and the pitch of the lyrics. Using this correlation, a melody based on given lyrics can be generated. The systems, methods and algorithms disclosed herein take into account the correlation between the notes of the melody and the pitch of the lyrics in a song to automatically generate the melody.
