Abstract

The invention discloses implementation of composite service in a communication network, namely, a method of implementing service in the communication network including a first terminal and a second terminal, and the first terminal and the second terminal can be connected to a circuit domain and a packet domain of the communication network. The method comprises the following steps of storing a first identifier (CLI_A) of the first terminal in a server, wherein the first identifier (CLI_A) comprises an identifier in the circuit domain of the communication network; storing a first address (IP-addA) of the first terminal in the server, wherein the first address (IP-addA) comprises an address in the packet domain of the communication network; and storing first correlation between the first identifier (CLI_A) and the first address (IP-addA) of the first terminal in the server, and when the first terminal is a calling terminal relative to the second terminal, responding a request from the second terminal, and transmitting the first address (IP-addA) to the second terminal from the server, wherein the request comprises the first identifier (CLI_A) of the first terminal.
