Abstract

The invention relates to a system for regulating at least two sets of shut-off elements of an air intake in an engine compartment of a motor vehicle. The system includes at least two conditioning units. Each adjusting unit comprises a drive unit with an electric motor and a drive train for adjusting a set of shut-off elements. One adjustment unit is the main adjustment unit and the other adjustment unit is the auxiliary adjustment unit. The main regulating unit is designed for a main connection to a central control unit, such as an on-board computer of the motor vehicle. Furthermore, the main regulating unit is also configured for secondary connection with the auxiliary regulating unit. In this system the auxiliary regulating unit is not directly connected to the central control unit.
