Abstract

The invention provides a data storage method and device. The method comprises the steps: performing modulus operation of a preset numeric value on identification information of to-be-stored data, wherein the identification information is a numeric value, and the preset numeric value is the number of storage nodes; and storing the to-be-stored data into storage nodes corresponding to the result of the modulus operation. The data storage method and device overcomes the defect of slowing down data query caused by the continuous increasing of data volume in the prior art; the data is stored in a plurality of the storage nodes by means of the modulus operation; therefore, the to-be-queried data is positioned on one storage node by means of the modulus operation during data query, and the query scope is reduced, the data is further inquired in the storage node and the query efficiency is improved.
