Problems solved by technology

The above-mentioned several MAC protocols all have certain limitations in application environments that have high requirements for network life (low power consumption) and network performance (delay, delivery rate, etc.). Therefore, the present invention proposes a method based on Adaptive MAC protocol for broadcast messages: SA-MAC

Embodiment Construction

[0033] The following describes the SA-MAC protocol of the present invention in detail.

[0034] The main design goal of SA-MAC is to reduce the energy consumption of the network and improve network performance by reducing the idle listening time of nodes and the probability of data collision. The relevant nodes wake up at the corresponding time for data exchange.

[0035] SA-MAC adopts a periodic working mechanism, and the length of the working cycle is a fixed value. A complete working cycle includes a synchronization cycle, a broadcast cycle and a data cycle. of the present invention figure 1 Briefly describe the cycle working mechanism of SA-MAC, in which the time length of the synchronization cycle is ST; the time length of the broadcast cycle is AT; the data cycle is divided into a series of work intervals with the same length, and the size of each work interval is used by the relevant nodes The time DT required by the maximum CW for a complete RTS / CTS / DATE / ACK data exc...

Abstract

A broadcasting message based wireless sensor network MAC protocol is provided. The protocol uses a cycle working system, and the time length of one working cycle is a fixed value; one working cycle is divided as a synchronizing cycle, a broadcasting cycle and a data cycle based on the timeline; the data cycle is divided into multiple working sections with the same time length; and the achieving procedure of the protocol is: in the synchronizing cycle, through the exchange of the synchronization frame message, node time synchronization in the same virtual cluster is achieved; in the broadcasting cycle, a source node randomly selects the working section in the broadcasting cycle, and completes the data exchange of the related nodes in the corresponding working section using the broadcasting message; and in the data cycle, the related node is waken in the corresponding working section, the source node starts a channel competition, and the source node performs RTS / CTS / DATE / ACK data exchange with a target node after succeeding in accessing the channel. Comparing with the current ADV-MAC protocol and S-MAC protocol, the protocol of the present invention has a better level of network performance in network power consumption, time delay, delivery rate, and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a MAC protocol of a wireless sensor network, in particular to a MAC protocol of a wireless sensor network based on broadcast messages. Background technique [0002] Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a multi-hop self-organizing network system formed by a large number of micro sensor nodes deployed in the monitoring area through wireless communication. The processes of data perception, aggregation, and transmission of WSN are all completed by sensor nodes, but sensor nodes are constrained by volume and cost, and are generally designed to be very small, which directly results in the limited computing and storage capabilities of the nodes themselves. Energy consumption becomes the primary consideration of WSN. At the same time, WSN is an application-dependent network. The network needs to transmit the data that the user is interested in to the terminal according to the relevant requirements of the application. After analysis, it ...
