The traditional Chinese medicine believes that oral ulcer belongs to the category of aphtha and canker sore. The common pathogenesis of chemotherapy-induced oral ulcer mostly comprises weakened body resistance, insufficient vital-qi, intolerance by nature, taste damage, transformation failure of spleen, spleen vacuity, blood dryness, outside wind-dryness evil, yin-yang deficiency, deficiency fire uprising and toxic heat accumulation. The invention selects traditional Chinese medicines including silverweed cinquefoil root, lucid ganoderma, rust-coloured crotalaria herb with root, beechey fig leaf, marsh orchis herb, scoparius, Stachys sieboldii Miq., engler abelia fruit or flower, wallich willow root, Cynanchum amplexicaule Hemsl., elecampane, Suchow mosla herb and nard, which are prepared into a soup.
