[0023] Example 1: Establishment of rat femoral fracture fixation model and postoperative magnetic resonance imaging analysis

[0024] 1. Preparation of Sprague-Dawley rat fracture fixation model: 2 Sprague-Dawley male rats, body weight (300 ± 20) grams, when the formal experiment started on the first day, the experimental animals were all treated with 10% chloral hydrate (300mg / kg ) for anesthesia by intraperitoneal injection. After successful anesthesia, take the left lying position, disinfect the area of the right lower extremity with 70% alcohol and spread a sterile drape. The skin and subcutaneous soft tissue of the knee joint were incised, the patella was dislocated laterally, and the knee joint was exposed. The femoral canal was drilled at the distal end of the femur. Fixtures. After the stability of the internal fixation was confirmed during the operation, the femoral fracture was prepared by incision and osteotomy under direct vision (see Figure 4 ), the surgica...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for monitoring fracture healing and studying related pathophysiologic mechanisms through magnetic resonance imaging, especially application in a rat fracture fixation animal model. According to animal fracture fixation of the method, fracture parts of long tubal bones of four limbs are fixed through polymer materials which have no magnetic resonance imaging interference and are good in mechanical property and biologic safety, and the magnetic resonance imaging technology is used for monitoring the fracture healing process and studying related pathophysiologic mechanisms. Experiments show that the method can be used for magnetic resonance monitoring in the fracture healing process and biomedical mechanism studying. Establishment of the fracture fixation and magnetic resonance imaging technology monitoring model provides an effective and simple scheme for studies on the aspects of bone wound healing, delayed union, nonunion, infection, inflammation and tumors of a musculoskeletal system and novel treatment means development. Important scientific research value and application prospects are achieved when the model is used for pathophysiologic studying and novel treatment method studying.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of medicine, relates to a fracture-fixed animal model and its application, in particular to a fracture-fixed animal model using magnetic resonance imaging technology to monitor fracture healing and study related pathophysiological processes and its application, and belongs to medical animal model research field. Background technique [0002] With the deepening of the aging population in the world, the population of osteoporosis patients, that is, the high-risk population of fractures, has increased significantly. The incidence of complications such as infection is also increasing year by year. For complications such as delayed union, nonunion, and infection of fractures that seriously threaten the motor function of patients and have a high risk of disability, there is currently no effective early diagnosis method in clinical practice. Patients often miss the best stage of treatment after diagnosis, resultin...
