Abstract

The invention discloses a FPGA and ARM-based remote experiment system and a design method. The system is composed of a server, a plurality of PC clients and a plurality of ARM clients; a hardware basis of the ARM clients is a FPGA remote experiment board card, the FPGA remote experiment board card is composed of an ARM circuit module, a FPGA and an experiment peripheral thereof, a passive configuration interface of the FPGA is connected with an ARM, a part of IO pins of the FPGA is connected with an experiment peripheral entity, the other part of the IO pins of the FPGA is connected to the ARM and defined as a simulated peripheral; the ARM clients specifically implement remote configuration and experiment interaction of the FPGA; and a connection channel is as follows: the PC clients <-> the server <-> the ARM clients <-> the FPGA remote experiment board card. The system and the method provided by the invention realize bidirectional interaction of a remote hardware experiment, and satisfy double need of a local experiment and a remote experiment.
