Abstract

Disclosed are a registration system, method and apparatus based on face identification. The system comprises at least one camera and an embedded face identification processing unit, wherein the camera is used for collecting a monitoring video stream recording registered users, and sending the monitoring video stream to the embedded face identification processing unit, and the embedded face identification processing unit is used for receiving the monitoring video stream through input and output interfaces. The method comprises: extracting face characteristics of the registered users from the monitoring video stream through CPU, detecting whether there are target registered users matching the registered users exist in a pre-stored registered face characteristic concentration through CPU according to the face characteristics of the registered users; and if so, determining that the target registered users have successfully registered. A camera is used for collecting the monitoring video stream at a passage entrance of a registration site in real time, so that users who need registration don't have to line up and can directly step into the registration site. The registration efficiency is increased, and the system is suitable for a registration situation, such as a big conference, with high flow density. And a GPU enables fast face identification achieved.
