Abstract

The invention discloses a device and a method for clearing ash deposits at a cold end of an air preheater after putting a SCR system into operation, wherein the device comprises a high-temperature flue arranged at an inlet of the air preheater and a gas exhaust flue arranged at an outlet of the air preheater; an external pipeline is arranged between the inlet of the air preheater and a flue gas side of the cold end of the air preheater; a pipeline valve for controlling flow of flue gas which passes through the external pipeline is arranged on the external pipeline; and the external pipeline is a multi-channel air feeding structure, and an air inlet of the external pipeline has a taper. According to the device disclosed by the invention, high-temperature flue gas is introduced into the cold end of the air preheater, so that a temperature of a cold-end area is increased to be 200 DEG C or higher, and bonded fly ash is expanded and loosened; and meanwhile, a steam ash-blowing device of the air preheater is utilized for blowing off fluffy ash deposits.
