Abstract

The invention provides a network switching method and device, wherein the method comprises the following steps of: when the fact that a terminal currently performs a data service and is in a target connection state is determined, obtaining the network signal strength value of a first network and the network signal strength value of a second network currently accessed by the terminal; detecting whether the currently performed data service is abnormal or not; and switching to the second network if the currently performed data service is abnormal. In the network switching method and device disclosed by the invention, the terminal can be automatically switched to the second network when the first network cannot ensure normal execution of the data service and the terminal cannot be switched to the second network according to a related technology; therefore, normal execution of the data service is ensured; and thus, the user experience is improved.
