Each air monitoring unit comprises a temperature sensor, a GPS (global positioning system) positioning unit, a humidity sensor, a sulfur dioxide electrochemical sensor array, a sulfur dioxide signal conditioning circuit, a carbon monoxide electrochemical sensor array, a carbon monoxide signal conditioning circuit, a nitrogen oxide electrochemical sensor array, a nitrogen oxide signal conditioning circuit and a microcontroller. When the industrial environment air pollution monitoring system is in operation, the control module controls the display module to display air quality information received by each air monitoring unit; when pollutant concentration exceeds the permissible standard, the control module controls the display module to display the exceeding air quality information of the air monitoring units in a highlighted mode and controls the alarm module to alarm.
