Abstract

The optimization method can be used for optimizing the Cascade class algorithms from two aspects to improve the negotiation efficiency performance of the algorithms, and comprises the following steps: firstly, for the last packet of the i-th round (i is greater than or equal to 2) of error correction, the consistency of parity check codes of Alice and Bob can be derived from the previous packet, and thus the transmission and comparison on the parity check codes is not needed, and the amount of the exposure information can be reduced; and secondly, when backtracking the error correction, the packets with the length of 2 can directly complete the error correction without executing a BINARY process, and thus the amount of the exposure information can be reduced. The optimization method provided by the invention is applicable to QKD systems with relatively low code filtering rate such as remote QKD systems, measurement device independent QKD systems and the like.
