The driving distance of travel evaluation method comprises the steps of firstly generating indexes used for evaluating the driving distance of travel according to driving behavior data of a driver; secondly, calculating an evaluation result of any driving distance of travel under each index; and finally determining a final evaluation result of the driving distance of travel based on the evaluation results of any driving distance of travel under each index. According to the invention, indexes used for evaluating the driving distance of travel can be generated in advance, evaluation is performed on the driving distance of travel from the perspective of each index, and a final evaluation result of the driving distance of travel is acquired ultimately. Compared with the prior art, the driving distance of travel evaluation method and device realize automatic evaluation for the driving distance of travel, and the evaluation result is more accurate at the same time.
