[0003] Dialysate concentrates provided centrally are simple to handle for the user, but have the disadvantage that the dialysate cannot be adjusted individually to the needs of the patient
Concentrates supplied decentralized, although allowing the individual adaptation of the dialysate to the patient, must be applied to the dialysis device for each individual dialysis treatment

Embodiment Construction

[0034] The hemodialysis system has a dialyzer 1 which is divided by a semipermeable membrane 2 into a blood chamber 3 and a dialysate chamber 4 . The inlet of the blood chamber 3 is connected to one end of the blood supply line 5 in which the blood pump 6 is connected, and the outlet of the blood chamber is connected to one end of the blood outlet line 7 . A dialysate supply line 8 leads to the inlet of the dialysate chamber 4 , and from the outlet of the dialysate chamber leads a dialysate outlet line 9 , which leads to an outflow 10 . A dialysate pump 11 is connected in the dialysate outlet line 9 . During the dialysis treatment, the patient's blood flows through the blood chamber 3 of the dialyzer 1 , while the dialysate flows in reverse flow through the dialysate chamber 4 . The semipermeable membrane 2 of the dialyzer 1 separates the extracorporeal blood circuit I of the dialysis system from the dialysate system II.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for supplying dialysis liquid to a dialysis apparatus, and to a dialysis apparatus with a device for supplying the dialysis apparatus with dialysis liquid. For the production of dialysis liquid, a container 13 is provided which is filled with a powdered dialysis liquid concentrate K, wherein the quantity of the dialysis liquid concentrate contained in the container is such that the dialysis liquid concentrate permits the production of a quantity of dialysis liquid that is sufficient for a predefined number of dialysis treatments. The method according to the invention and the device according to the invention permit a comparison of the concentrate quantity K2 present in the container 13 and the planned usage quantity, which derives from the prescription by the physician and from the treatment parameters set on the machine. After the individual dialysis treatments have been performed, an ongoing check is made to ascertain whether the concentrate quantity is sufficient. It is possible to check whether the concentrate quantity is sufficient for the subsequent treatment or for all of the treatments still to be performed. If this is not the case, an alarm signal is generated. Otherwise, a control signal for initiating the next treatment cycle is generated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method and a device for supplying a dialysis device with dialysis fluid, and a dialysis device with a device for supplying the dialysis device with dialysis fluid. Background technique [0002] During dialysis, the patient's blood flows continuously through the blood chamber of the dialyzer and dialysate continuously flows through the dialysate chamber. To generate the dialysate, a previously produced dialysate concentrate can be used, which is diluted with water. In dialysis centers, dialysate concentrate is supplied as a pre-manufactured product in buckets, bags or cartridges, or from a central tank via a loop piping system. [0003] Dialysate concentrates provided centrally are easy to handle for the user, but have the disadvantage that the dialysate cannot be adjusted individually to the needs of the patient. Concentrates provided discretely allow the individual adaptation of the dialysate to the patient, but must be ap...
