Embodiment

[0033] The method for using a color screen in a small-memory embedded system described in this embodiment, the method includes:

[0034] S1, according to the target data to be displayed, establish the mapping relationship A between the target data and the RGB color coding table in the read-only memory ROM and the mapping relationship B between the color coding in the RGB color coding table and the color index number in the table, set The color index number of the memory area corresponding to the required display position of the target data in the random access memory RAM;

[0035] S2, when refreshing the display, traverse the color index numbers in the random access memory RAM in turn, query the RGB color coding value table that has a mapping relationship A with the target data according to the color index numbers in the random access memory RAM, and according to the color index number and the RGB color coding The mapping relationship B obtains the unique color-coded true valu...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for using a colorful screen in a small-memory embedded system, wherein the method relates to the field of displaying technology, and is particularly suitable for the situation in which a video memory is larger than a system memory. The method comprises the steps of establishing a mapping relation A between target data and an RGB color coding table in a read-only memory (ROM) and a mapping relation B between a color code in the RGB color coding table and an in-table color index number, and setting a color index number of a memory area which corresponds with a to-be-displayed position of the target data in a random access memory; in displaying refreshing, performing successive traversal on color index numbers in the random memory, searching an RGB color coding number table according to the color index number in the random access memory, and acquiring a unique color coding real number which corresponds with the color index number according to the mapping relation B; and transmitting the color code real number to a display screen through a display screen driving interface for displaying. Through storing the color index in the memory for replacing direct storage of RGB color coding number, memory resource consumption is effectively reduced, and use of the colorful screen with relatively large video memory in a small-memory embedded system is realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of display technology, in particular to a method for using a color screen in a small-memory embedded system. Background technique [0002] A pixel is composed of three primary colors of red, green, and blue, and various colors can be displayed by adjusting the size of each primary color component. In the digital system, each primary color component is quantified and described by the number of bits, and the sum of the number of bits of each primary color of a pixel is called the color depth. The higher the base color quantization level is, the richer the color is, and the smaller the color scale is, the more realistic the display is, that is, the deeper the color depth. [0003] Usually, the color display with LCD controller supports 16bit color depth by default. The R (red) component occupies 5 bits, the G (green) component occupies 6 bits, and the B (blue) component occupies 5 bits. [0004] In the existing tradit...
