Problems solved by technology

In this case, when the LCU is used as the basic unit for error concealment, if the BI method is used directly, since most of the lost pixels of the lost block (LCU) are farther away from the correctly received pixels, the concealment effect will be greatly reduced

specific Embodiment approach

[0038] The method block diagram of the present invention is as figure 1 shown. The specific implementation is as follows:

[0039] First complete the detection and location of the lost LCU, and then the specific method has the following steps:

[0040] Step 1: First, divide the lost LCU into four parts: upper left, upper right, lower right, and lower left. Each part is 32x32 in size; in this way, each part can make full use of the correlation of adjacent correctly received pixels;

[0041] Step 2: First, the upper left part, in the HEVC standard reference software HM, obtain the depths of the 16 correctly received 4x4 small blocks adjacent to the upper and left side of the part through the getDepth() function, and determine the division of this part with the maximum depth, that is Divided into a series of blocks of this depth; if the maximum depth is 0 or 1, no division is performed, and the next step is directly performed with a size of 32x32;

[0042] Step 3: For each div...

Abstract

The invention discloses an HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) intra-frame coding frame error masking method based on a texture angle prediction mode. Specifically, the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) intra-frame coding frame error masking method based on the texture angle prediction mode aims at errors possibly occurring in a transmission process of an HEVC code stream at an HEVC standard decoding end and takes the maximum coding unit (LCU) as a target. According to the method, through utilization of the spatial correlativity of an intra-frame coding mode, the lost LCU is divided into four parts: upper left, upper right, lower right and lower left parts. For each part, the reasonable division of the part is speculated according to the depth of adjacent accurate receiving blocks. In the division mode, through reference to the texture angle pattern of the adjacent blocks, texture angle pattern judgment is carried out on each divided block of the lost LCU. The errors are masked according to the intra-frame coding mode based on the texture angle pattern. The steps are carried out repeatedly until the whole lost LCU is masked. The experiment shows that compared with a linear interpolation method, the method provided by the invention has the advantage that the HEVC masking quality can be effectively improved through error masking.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention belongs to the technical field of video coding, and specifically relates to a prediction mode based on a texture angle with the largest coding unit (LCU) (Largest Coding Unit, LCU) as an object, aiming at the errors that may occur during the transmission of the HEVC code stream at the decoding end of the HEVC coding standard HEVC intra-frame coding frame error concealment method. Background technique [0002] High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) is a new generation of video coding international standards jointly formulated by ITU and ISO, and has broad prospects in future high-definition and ultra-high-definition video applications. HEVC is basically the same as the previous standard H.264 / AVC in terms of coding principle and basic structure, that is, the block-by-block hybrid coding method of prediction plus transformation, but corresponding improvement measures have been taken in almost every coding link, making the overall codin...
