According to the method and the device provided by the invention, when the verification triggering event corresponding to the preset treatment is detected, the condition that whether the fingerprint information currently input by a user is matched with the target fingerprint information needs to be determined, the condition that whether the displacement of the fingerprint sensor meets the preset condition also needs to be determined, and thus the preset treatment can be executed; therefore, security of user information is increased, and loss caused by touch by mistake of the user is also reduced.
