Abstract

The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition capable of improving sleep as well as a preparation and application thereof. The pharmaceutical composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 5-50 parts of theanine, 5-20 parts of gamma-aminobutyric acid, 50-100 parts of spina date seeds and 50-100 parts of gastrodia elata. A pharmaceutical preparation comprises the previous pharmaceutical composition. The invention further provides application of the pharmaceutical composition in preparation of a medicine with an effect of improving the sleep. According to the pharmaceutical composition in the invention, the theanine has the effects of resisting depression, calming the mind, regulating changes of neurotransmitters in the brain, improving the learning ability and memory and resisting fatigue; the gamma-aminobutyric acid has physiological effects of calming, promoting hypnosis, resisting convulsion and reducing blood pressure; the spina date seeds have the effects of nourishing the liver, calming heart, soothing nerves, arresting sweating, and treating various symptoms such as dysphoria and egersis, palpitation, polydipsia, abnormal sweating and the like; and the gastrodia elata has the effects of calming, resisting convulsions and reducing the blood pressure. According to the synergistic effects of the previous components, the aim of improving the sleep is achieved.
