The method includes the steps that the air supply pressure of a tail end air supply outlet and the return air pressure of a return air inlet of the cooling unit are obtained; the pressure range where the supply air pressure is located is determined, and the pressure range is set according to the required pressure set by users;the fan regulating frequency corresponding to the pressure range where the supply air pressure is located is worked out by means of a preset pressure modification coefficient, the supply air pressureand the return air pressure; and the fan frequency of the cooling unit is regulated through the fan regulating frequency. The supply air pressure and the return air pressure are used as calculation parameters for working out regulating quantities of the fan frequency, namely the fan regulating frequencies, in different pressure ranges, so that control over the air volume of a fan is achieved; andsince the pressure ranges are set according to the required pressure set by the users, the fact that the actual air supply volume of the fan is matched with the required air supply volume is guaranteed.
