The invention relates to a node voltage sag severity assessment method giving consideration to load importance, and the method comprises the steps: determining sag influence factors of loads at all levels based on an analytic hierarchy process, so as to quantify the load importance degrees; defining a system side index based on the sag influence factors of loads at all levels, so as to reflect theoverall impact on a node load from sag; determining a user side index through combining with an equipment voltage withstanding curve, and describing a fault risk that a sensitive load access node will withstand; assessing the voltage sag severity based on grey correlation analysis: determining an ideal optimal sample from samples as a reference sequence, calculating the correlation between each sample sequence and the reference sequence, and performing the integrated comparison and ordering of the assessed objects. The method can be used for the assessment of the severity of multi-node and multi-order voltage sags, and provides a basis for solving a power supply quality problem and a node voltage sag treatment problem.
