Embodiment Construction

[0045] Hereinafter, one embodiment will be described by referring to the drawings.

[0046] Label production equipment

[0047] will refer to figure 1 The label production apparatus according to the present embodiment is described.

[0048] exist figure 1 , a label production apparatus 1 as an example of a printing apparatus includes: a control circuit 2; an operation device 3 configured to accept an operation by a user (operator); a display 4; a random access memory (RAM) 5 , the random access memory (RAM) 5 is configured to store various information; the conveying roller 6; the print head 7; the cutting lever 8; and the cutter 9.

[0049] The label production apparatus 1 comprises a cassette holder 12 having a housing 11 on which the tape cassette 10 can be removably mounted. The tape cassette 10 accommodates a tape roll 10A having a spiral shape. Note: For brevity, figure 1 Reel 10A is shown in the form of concentric circles. The tape roll 10A is a roll of the printi...

Abstract

The present invention provides medium and tape cassettes. The medium includes a transparent substrate layer and a separation layer stacked on each other. Defining a plurality of regions in the mediumalong a first direction orthogonal to the stacking direction, wherein the regions comprise a first region, wherein a portion of the medium in contact with the separation layer includes two opposite ends in a second direction, the second direction being orthogonal to the first direction and the stacking direction, at least two opposite ends being attachable; a second region on a side of the first region in the first direction, wherein a portion of the medium in contact with the separation layer is not attachable; a third region is located on a side of the second region in the first direction, wherein the portion of the medium in contact with the separation layer is attachable. The longest length of the first region in the second direction is smaller than the length of the second region and the third region at a specified position in the first direction in the second direction. The medium can be rotatably attached around the wrapped component without additional force. The cassette holds the media.

Description

technical field [0001] The following disclosure relates to media to be affixed to wrapped components and to cassettes containing the media. Background technique [0002] Patent Document 1 (JP-T-2011-524154) discloses a medium to be attached to, for example, a cable or an outer peripheral portion of a cylindrical wrapped member. The medium includes a substrate layer, an adhesive layer, and a release layer stacked on top of each other. The medium includes: a one-side adhesive area in which the rear surface of the medium becomes adhesive after the release layer is peeled off, and a non-adhesive area in which the non-adhesive area is attached to the one side The bonded area is contiguous, and in the non-bonded area, the print background layer is provided, and the back surface of the medium is non-adhesive; and the other side bonded area, the other side bonded area and the non-bonded area Adjoining, and in this other side bonding area, the rear surface of the media is partially...
