Abstract

The invention discloses a welding device for a high-strength metal pipe. The welding device comprises a support frame, a welding component and a driving mechanism, wherein the driving mechanism and the welding component are connected so as to drive the welding component to do reciprocating motion; the welding component comprises a welding gun and an enclasping mechanism; the enclasping mechanism and the welding gun are both located on the motion trace line of the welding component; the enclasping mechanism comprises a first extrusion block, a second extrusion block and a power unit; the firstextrusion block and the second extrusion block are oppositely arranged at two sides of the motion trace line and are driven by the power unit to move in opposite directions; and the support frame is used for fixing the pipe formed by winding, and the pipe is enabled to be located between the first extrusion block and the second extrusion block and a butt seam formed during winding of the pipe faces the welding component. The welding device disclosed by the invention not only is capable of increasing firmness of welding and enhancing strength of the pipe but also is capable of preventing welding slag from entering the pipe through the butt seam.
