Abstract

The invention provides a miniature dielectric nanometer antenna for restraining bidirectional radiation, wherein the antenna belongs to the technical field of an antenna. The miniature dielectric nanometer antenna comprises a reflecting raster (3) and a waveguide array, wherein the reflecting raster (3) and the waveguide array are packaged by a packaging layer (2). wherein the reflecting raster (3) is arranged below the waveguide array. The waveguide array is composed of at least one set of waveguides (1) and a radiating raster (4). The radiating raster (4) is utilized for radiating light in the waveguide to a free space and furthermore the reflecting raster (3) is utilized for upwards reflecting the light which is downwards radiated by the radiating raster (4). The miniature dielectric nanometer antenna has advantages of effectively reducing dimension of the antenna unit in a current silicon-based laser phased array, suppressing bidirectional radiation and improving radiation efficiency. The miniature dielectric nanometer antenna has important application in the fields of space laser communication and laser radar.
