The method includes: acquiring to-be-drawn imagedata; determining a preset threshold of each dimension in geometric-body difference information according to environment brightness corresponding to the intelligent terminal; and determining geometric-body difference information of a current image corresponding to the image data and an adjacent previous frame image, and adjusting the frame rate according to the geometric-body difference information and the preset threshold. By adopting the above technical solution, different preset thresholds are selected through environment brightness, preset thresholds in dark environments can be increased,quantity of frame data sent to an image processing module for rendering can be further reduced, and thus an effect of reducing power consumption can be achieved.
