Abstract

According to the implementation of the present disclosure, an automatic analysis scheme for differences between multidimensional data sets is proposed. In this approach, an analysis request is received for a first data set and a second data set, each of the first data set and the second data set including data items corresponding to a plurality of dimensions. In response to the analysis request, comparing data items in the first data set and the second data set corresponding to the first dimension of the plurality of dimensions. A first set of influencing factors associated with the first dimension is determined based on the comparison, each of the first set of influencing factors indicating a cause of a difference between the first data set and the second data set from a respective perspective. Based at least in part on the first set of influencing factors, an analysis result is presented related to the difference between the first data set and the second data set. In this way, an automatic and efficient analysis of differences between different datasets is achieved.
