Embodiment Construction

[0035] figure 1 A first block diagram of the fire protection switch AFD according to the invention is shown. The fire switch has three energy source-side connections L1 , L2 , L3 for the three phase lines of the three-phase AC circuit. On the side of the energy sink, the three phase lines passing through the fire switch AFD are connected to the energy sink LOAD. The fire protection switch AFD can be connected before or after the power protection switch MCB for interrupting the electrical circuit. Furthermore, an interrupting unit, for example with contacts, can be present in the flameproof switch AFD for interrupting the electrical circuit. Neither of these are in figure 1 shown in .

[0036] Three phase lines L1, L2, L3 are associated with the sensor unit. For example, the sensor unit may be composed of multiple sensor subunits, such as the first, second and third sensor subunits CT1, CT2, and CT3 for collecting current parameters of an electrical three-phase AC circuit,...

Abstract

The invention relates to a fire protection switch used for an electric three-phase AC circuit having three phase lines. The switch has a sensor unit linked to the three phase lines and used for collecting electric parameters of the three-phase AC circuit; and a control unit connected to the sensor unit and used for analyzing the electric parameters, determining series connection / parallel connection fault electric arcs, and outputting fault electric arc identifying signals to interrupt the three-phase AC circuit. A display unit is provided and is configured to display phase references of the fault electric arcs when the fault electric arcs occur.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a fire switch according to the invention for an electrical three-phase AC circuit and to a method according to the invention. Background technique [0002] Flame breakers are a relatively new type of protection device for electric circuits or power supply networks, which are used to identify fault arcs, eg parallel or series (fault) arcs. The fire switch is also called arc fault detection device (Arc Fault Detection Device), referred to as AFDD, or arc fault circuit interrupter (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter), referred to as AFCI. Arc faults, sometimes called disturbance arcs, may be formed by poorly clamped electrical connections in distribution boxes or receptacles or by poor insulation and contacts. Fire switches can be used in particular in low-voltage power grids, for example in premises installations such as fuse boxes, in order to detect such faults and interrupt electrical circuits in the event of a fault or an arc fau...
