The method includes determining a first straight line and a second straight line perpendicular to eachother in a plane in which an edge image is located; obtaining a first length of a longest line segment formed by a projection point of an edge pixel point on a first line of an edge image, and obtaining a second length of a longest line segment formed by a projection point of an edge pixel point on a second line of the edge image; obtaining a third straight line and a fourth straight line perpendicular to each other in a plane based on the first slope and the second slope determined by the first length and the second length; obtaining the projected image prime numbers of the first straight line, the second straight line, the third straight line and the fourth straight line, respectively; determining a maximum value of the obtained number of projected image elements as a first number; anddetermining a tilt angle of the edge image from the first tilt angle. The tilt angle of the edge image can be determined by applying the scheme provided by the embodiments of the present application.
