Abstract

The invention provides a method for extracting essential oil in traditional Chinese medicinal materials. The method provided by the invention has the following beneficial effects: a novel green binaryand ternary deep eutectic solvent is adopted as an extracting agent, the problem that an organic reagent with higher toxicity is used as an extraction solvent in a traditional essential oil extraction technology is overcome, and pollution to the environment is reduced; a combination of the novel green solvent and a microwave-assisted steam distillation technology is used for the first time, the shortcomings of high costs, long extraction time, high labor intensity and the like existing in the traditional extraction technology are overcome, and compared with a method using a binary deep eutectic solvent, a method using a ternary deep eutectic solvent can obtain a higher yield of the essential oil; compared with extraction technologies of microwave steam distillation and ultrasound-assistedternary deep eutectic solvent steam distillation, the ternary deep eutectic solvent combined with microwave-assisted steam distillation extraction method can obtain a higher yield of the essential oil and volatile components; an extraction device is easy to clean to reduce residues of a sample and a solvent; and the method can be combined with the practice to provide a novel means for extractionof the plant essential oil.
