Abstract

The invention provides a throttle valve and a control method thereof. The throttle valve comprises a controller, a throttle valve body, a motor and a valve plate. The valve plate is arranged in a gaspassageway of the throttle valve body. A first port and a second port of the throttle valve body both communicate with the gas passageway. A control end of the motor is electrically connected with a third control end of the controller. A rotating shaft of the motor is in transmission connection with the valve plate. A gas output end of a gas supply device communicates with a gas inlet end of a cell stack. A gas outlet end of the cell stack communicates with the first port of the throttle valve body. The second port of the throttle valve body communicates with the atmosphere. The controller controls the flow of gas, exhausted after being output to the cell stack through the gas supply device to be combusted, by driving the motor to make the motor drive the valve plate to rotate; and by controlling the gas backpressure, the combustion conversion efficiency of fuel is effectively improved.
