Abstract

The invention provides an application topology generation method and related equipment, and the method comprises the steps: enabling an application probe to judge whether a monitored application is ina starting state or not; if the application probe judges that the monitored application is in the starting state, calling parameters of the monitored application when the monitored application is called by a system are obtained at an interface of the monitored application called by the system; and enabling the application probe to generate a calling log according to the calling parameter, callingtimestamp of the monitored application when the monitored application is called by the system and the identifier of the monitored application. The application probe obtains a calling parameter when the monitored application is called by the system at an interface where the system calls the monitored application. According to the method, a user does not need to introduce an application probe intoa source code of an application, the user does not need to recompile the source code of the application, the application probe utilization range in an application topology construction scheme is widened, and the problem of application probe utilization limitation is solved.
