Abstract

The invention discloses a compressed air energy storage power generation system and a phase modulation control method thereof. The system comprises a compressed air energy storage device, an electricgenerator, a fully-controlled excitation device, and a control circuit. A machine end of the electric generator is connected to a power grid, the compressed air energy storage device is connected to arotor of the electric generator, and the fully-controlled excitation device is connected to an excitation winding of the electric generator. The fully-controlled excitation device is also connected to the machine end of the electric generator, the control circuit is connected to each fully-controlled device of the fully-controlled excitation device, and the control circuit is also connected to the compressed air energy storage device and the machine end of the electric generator. The control circuit is used to acquire a switching signal and a control signal; the compressed air energy storagedevice is used to adjust a rotation speed of a turbine or disconnect connection with the rotor; and the fully-controlled excitation device is used to directly absorb or inject reactive power to the power grid, and adjust an excitation current of the electric generator so as to indirectly absorb or inject the reactive power to the power grid. The ability of providing reactive power support to the power grid can be increased and power grid operating cost is reduced.
