The embodiment of the invention provides a classification merging method and device and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps of acquiring target classification and multiple source classification, wherein the target classification and the source classification are both of a tree-based hierarchical structure, and each classification is composed of multiple concepts and semantic relationsamong the concepts; determining the concepts with the same semantics as the concepts in the target classification in each source classification, and dividing the concepts in the source classificationinto core concepts and non-core concepts according to the concepts with the same semantics and the hierarchical relationship between the concepts in the source classification; merging the core concepts into the target classification according to the semantic relationship between the core concepts and the target classification and the hierarchical relationship between the core concepts to obtain initial combined classification; and merging the non-core concepts into the initial merged classification according to the semantic features of the non-core concepts and the hierarchical relationship of the non-core concepts in the source classification to obtain the final merged classification. Complexity of classification and combination is effectively reduced.
