Abstract

The invention discloses potential application of closantel sodium in resisting mycobacterium infection, and provides an inhibitor of an enzyme which exists in mycobacterium and is very important for growth of the mycobacterium, namely, anthranilate phosphoribosyl transferase (AnPRT). The inhibitor is named closantel sodium and has significant inhibition activity for transfer of the AnPRT, so thatthe inhibitor can be used for preparing a small-molecular inhibitor for the AnPRT in the mycobacterium and is expected to become a potential drug for resisting mycobacterium infection.
