The invention provides a smart campus system based on a 5G technology. The system comprises at least one terminal device, at least one MEC shunting module and at least one edge cloud. An intelligent education cloud platform is installed on the edge cloud; the intelligent education cloud platform provides an interface for users to access education resources. The terminal equipment is connected withthe corresponding MEC shunting module through a 5G network; the MEC shunting module is used for shunting the service data of the user; if the terminal device is a campus user, the MEC shunting moduleshunts the business data of the terminal device to the corresponding edge cloud, thereby ensuring that the business data of the campus user is directly processed by the edge cloud close to the terminal device side, greatly reducing the network time delay, and improving the teaching effect and teaching quality.
