Abstract

The invention discloses a citation recommendation method and system based on link analysis. The method comprises the following steps: constructing a directed weighted citation network; dividing a reference network into network clusters; selecting representative nodes for the network clusters; selecting a candidate network cluster for newly-built paper; adding nodes with the highest similarity intoa candidate citation recommendation set, and calculating the link degree between the nodes; selecting nodes of which the link degrees are higher than a second threshold value, and adding the nodes into the candidate citation recommendation set; continuously selecting and adding nodes into the candidate citation recommendation set; obtaining paper published in a first time period as first paper, and predicting the citation frequency of the first paper; obtaining paper published in a third time period as second paper; calculating the citation frequency increase degree of the first paper and thesecond paper; and adding the papers of which the citation frequency increase degrees are greater than a fourth threshold into the candidate citation recommendation set. Citation recommendation of thecommunity network is optimized, the recommendation accuracy is improved, and meanwhile, papers with short publishing time are predicted, so that recommended citations are more comprehensive.
