Abstract

The invention relates to a visual analysis method and system for multivariable bat type sports data, and belongs to the technical field of bat type sports data analysis and event sequence visualization. The method comprises the following steps: 1) collecting data of different bat type sports events, preprocessing the data into the same data format, and expressing each time of ball hitting as a multi-attribute event; 2) expressing each round as a sequence consisting of a plurality of multi-attribute events, and forming a data set by a plurality of rounds of data in the same sports event; 3) fora certain round, calculating the correction cost of reconstructing the original sequence by using the characteristic sub-sequence in the corresponding sequence; and 4) taking the characteristic sub-sequence used when the correction cost is lowest as a visual analysis object. By using a feature mining method, tactical features (some frequently appearing batting feature sub-sequences) of players are discovered from hundreds of rounds, and the performance of different players and players at different times is compared by using a visualization technology.
