Abstract

The invention provides a neighbor cell adding method and device which are applied to a base station, and the method comprises the steps: receiving first measurement data, sent by a terminal, for one or more neighbor cells, wherein the first measurement data comprises signal attribute information corresponding to the one or more neighbor cells; determining a cell switching success rate corresponding to a serving cell where the base station is located and a first pilot frequency adding threshold corresponding to the cell switching success rate; adjusting the first pilot frequency adding threshold to a second pilot frequency adding threshold according to the cell switching success rate, and determining a target neighbor cell of which the signal attribute information meets the second pilot frequency adding threshold; and determining neighbor cell attribute information corresponding to the target neighbor cell, and adding the neighbor cell to the target neighbor cell when the neighbor cellattribute information satisfies a preset neighbor cell condition, thereby realizing dynamic neighbor cell selection, ensuring neighbor cell addition rationality, and avoiding excessive neighbor cell addition and insufficient neighbor cell addition.
