The method comprises the following steps of: 1) mounting the sensor: mounting the tile vibration sensor; 2) implementing detection: measuring at a specified point of the tile vibration sensor to obtain a sensitivity display value; (3) detection result and judgment: obtaining a relative or absolute error of the sensitivity of the tile vibration sensor according to the tile vibration factory sensitivity indicating value and the actual detection value. On the basis that the frequency response and the amplitude linearity meet the requirements, when the sensitivity error of the reference point of the tile vibration sensor is within the maximum allowable error range, the tile vibration sensor is suitable for being used in a power plant; and a suitable installation direction is recommended. According to the invention, key indexes of the tile vibration sensor are detected to evaluate the applicability of the tile vibration sensor in a power plant, and the measurement precision and reliability of the tile vibration sensor; the accuracy of channel, alarm and protection action values of a power plant monitoring system can be verified; and safe operation of the unit is guaranteed.
