Abstract

After receiving a cell position query request sent by query equipment, the position query service unit extracts a to-be-queried user terminal number from the cell position query request; a bearer creation request is sent to a core network, so that a core network gateway sends the recorded identification of the cell where the user terminal is located to a PCRF unit, and an MME unit establishes a bearer between the user terminal and the PCRF unit; and after receiving the bearer removal request, the PCRF unit releases the bearer with the user terminal, and sends an identifier of a cell where the user terminal is located to the position query service unit, so that the position query service unit sends the position of the cell where the user terminal is located to query equipment.
