The beam direction view (BEV) area and the BEV region connectivity flow can be determined by evaluating the dose response of each of the respective values of each of the apex in the delivery coordinate space (DCS). The information contained in the BEV region and the BEV region connectivity can be used to generate an optimized trajectory or optimized field geometry in the radiation therapy plan.
