Abstract

The invention provides a test device for simulating deformation and damage of a periglacial frozen soil slope. The test device comprises an inclined plate, wherein the upper surface of the inclined plate is provided with a thermal insulation layer for bearing a freezing layer; a shearing box body which is arranged on the inclined plate in a sliding mode, wherein the lower end of the shearing box body is open and supported on the freezing layer, and gravelly soil stacked on the freezing layer is laid in the shearing box body; a water supply part which is used for conveying water to the shearing box body; and a lifting mechanism which is connected with the inclined plate and is used for driving the inclined plate to incline to a set angle, so that the shearing box body and gravelly soil in the shearing box body slide in the simulated freezing and thawing process. The device has the beneficial effects that the freezing layer simulates a permanent frozen soil environment, gravelly soil in the shearing box body simulates a frozen soil side slope, the deformation and damage process of the periglacial frozen soil side slope is simulated indoors, the side slope damage mechanism is revealed, and the side slope damage condition under the real freezing and thawing cycle condition is restored; and conditions are provided for researching the influence of the freeze-thaw cycle effect on the stability of the gravelly soil slope.
