Abstract

The invention relates to a prostate cancer related marker and application thereof. The prostate cancer related marker is selected from at least one of malic acid, 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutamic acid and DL-3-phenyllactic acid, and can be applied to preparation of a reagent for detecting prostate cancer. Researches find that the content of malic acid and 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutamic acid in serum of a prostate cancer patient is obviously higher than that in a normal control, and the content of DL-3-phenyllactic acid is obviously lower than that in the normal control. ROC curve analysis is further carried out on detection data, and the result shows that the marker has good diagnostic performance, especially malic acid, and the detection performance is better. The invention provides a novel biomarker related to prostate cancer. When the biomarker is used for diagnosing prostate cancer, the biomarker has the advantages that a sample is easy to obtain, non-invasive, simple, convenient and fast.
