Abstract

The invention relates to an acid-resistant and alkali-resistant composition, a preparation method thereof, application of the acid-resistant and alkali-resistant composition in preparation of products, products containing substrates coated or impregnated with the acid-resistant and alkali-resistant composition, and a preparation method and application of the products. The composition comprises: at least one aqueous polyurethane dispersion having a carboxyl group; at least one cross-linking agent having an isocyanate reactive group; at least one cross-linking agent having a carboxyl reactive group; and an optional additive; wherein the amount of carboxyl groups in the aqueous polyurethane dispersion is greater than 0.05 wt%, based on the amount of the aqueous polyurethane dispersion being 100 wt%; the amount of the cross-linking agent having isocyanate reactive groups is from 0.2 wt% to 10 wt%, based on the amount of the composition as 100 wt%; the molar ratio of carboxyl reactive groups to carboxyl groups of the composition is greater than 0.5. A film formed by the composition disclosed by the invention has good acid and alkali resistance, and a product treated by the composition disclosed by the invention is flat in appearance and good in hand feeling.
