This invention relates to the field of assistive devices for
shingles, and more particularly to a hot compress device for relieving
postherpetic neuralgia, comprising: a hot compress component. Specifically, the hot compress component includes a heat
insulation layer and a covering layer. The covering layer is connected to and separated from the heat
insulation layer to form a liquid cavity. The surface of the heat
insulation layer has several mounting grooves communicating with the liquid cavity. A
phase change heat storage component is embedded inside the mounting grooves. The surface of the covering layer has a water inlet communicating with the liquid cavity. This invention uses a
phase change heat storage component to store the heat of hot water injected into the liquid cavity, forming
thermal radiation, thereby creating a hot compress effect on the
human body surface. Unlike traditional chemical heating and ordinary hot towels or hot water bottles, the
phase change heat storage component can maintain the temperature at a relatively mild state and retain heat for a longer period. It provides a good hot compress effect and has the function of long-term use and multiple reuses.
