Upwelling is an oceanographic phenomenon that involves wind-driven motion of dense, cooler, and usually nutrient-rich water towards the ocean surface, replacing the warmer, usually nutrient-depleted surface water. The nutrient-rich upwelled water stimulates the growth and reproduction of primary producers such as phytoplankton. After the outlet water of the UBF is treated through the A/O process, nitrifying liquid of an aerobiotic pond returns to an anaerobic pond to enhance the denitrification effect, outlet water of the aerobiotic pond enters a vertical settling pond, and outlet water of the settling pond meets the requirement for water quality of pipe network takeover in a chemical industrial park. The method has the advantages of being good in treatment effect and high in impact load resistance.
