Abstract

This invention discloses a method for electrically synthesizing intrinsic polyaniline with high electrical activity at high pH values. The method comprises: (1) electrolyzing aniline (0.1-0.6 mol / dm3) in mixed solution of ionic liquid and sulfuric acid in a constant-potential electrolytic tank with Pt electrodes; (2) washing the product with 0.02 mol / dm3 sulfuric acid, and vacuum-drying at 60-70 deg.C to obtain intrinsic polyaniline with high electrical activity at high pH values. Polyaniline thus obtained has the same good properties as that prepared in proton acid, and has excellent electrochemical activity in KCl solution at pH value of 12. The electrochemical activity is only reduced by 24.4% when the pH value changes from 7.0 to 12.0. Besides, polyaniline synthesized in mixed solution of ionic liquid and sulfuric acid has an electrical conductivity of 5.2 S / cm.
