Abstract

The invention relates to a sanitary washstand accessory (1) having a housing (3) which is detachably fastened to a washstand (2) by means of a fastening device (8). The fixing device (8) includes: a base (9) that can be fixed on the washstand (2); a plug-in device (3, 9) through which the shell (3) can be placed on the base from above. on the base (9); and a clamping device (20) through which the covered shell (3) can be clamped relative to the base (9). The clamping device (20) consists of a spring coil (21) received in a groove (22) of the base (9), which spring coil can be expanded radially by a threaded pin (29), so that the spring coil is also embedded into complementary mating grooves (23) of the housing (3).
